Green Lake is over 7 miles long, 2-1/2 miles wide, covering 7,300 acres of excellent sailing, boating, fishing, swimming, and other water sports. The area also a destination that features many superb golf courses making it a golfers Mecca from early spring to late fall. Although summer is the most active time of year, winter also provides many enjoyable activities. Ice fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and events such as Christmas in Green Lake in December and Winterfest in February are some of the activities enjoyed here. The Native Americans called it Monapacataca, the French called it Grand Lac Verde, we call it Green Lake, and youll want to call it home. Click on the image below for a large, detailed map.
